So, like many people out there now, I am on Pinterest and loving it. It is a great way to spend nap time, when I have the Babe asleep on me and I'm just messing around on my iPad. I've also started posting some of my jewellery there, as well as fellow Torontonians' handmade work. Craft shows

So I'm looking into starting to get involved in the craft show circuit for the Christmas season this year. Hard to believe it, but I've never been in one! I'm looking at juried shows, so I have to focus on getting together a classy, clean booth set up. Lots to think about, so if anyone out there has suggestions, post your comments here! I hope to be an old pro by January 2013.

I also have plans to host a home trunk show, and perhaps work on finding a few ladies to host some additional shows.

What inspires me this spring...

I thought I would create a Treasury on Etsy that showed the colours and images that generally inspire me at this time of year: Spring Blooms

The main source of my inspiration comes from this beautiful photograph, which I have admired for months now. I would love for it to go up in the girls' room! This is the shop, Racetay, and she is Canadian as well! Love it.

New earrings...

 I've been busy during my sweet new babe's naptimes, and wanted to share some of my creations. Apparently motherhood is an inspiring state to be in!

Spring is just around the corner...

Now that we're into March, I feel we can officially start on the road to spring! With that in mind, here are some spring-inspired designs I've been cooking up in my workshop.

International Women's Day

No pictures to share, today. I wanted to wish all my female colleagues out there - be they jewellery designers, photographers, writers, entrepreneurs or generally crafty and creative women, doing their thing - a happy International Women's Day!

May all of you be joyful, healthy and successful in whatever you choose to do, and may you never feel threatened for being who you are.

Filigree...all about filigree...

That's right, I am all about filigree right now. Brass, enamel, on its own, accenting pearls...it doesn't matter! Check out my most recent pieces.

Christmas Reds...

I am such a sucker for Red anything at Christmas. A bright, holly berry red looks great with denim or black, or you can tone it down by pairing it with browns. Sometimes just a single red accessory (like these earrings or this necklace) can make an all-black ensemble POP!

Christmas comes so fast...

I cannot believe it's only a month away! I've been trying to get myself organized...have already had my first trunk show at a friend's house, and have another coming up on Monday at a school I teach at. I have some special orders that I need to finish from the last show, plus some gifts of my own to give...it's a good thing I've been feeling more inspired than ever!

This year money is tight, so there won't be a huge number of gifts exchanged with girlfriends. I wish that wasn't the case, though! I have so many things I'd love to make and buy and give.

In the meantime, enjoy some recent creations :)
